Beginning Wednesday, you’ll receive Triple Rewards Points for every purchase made on your Nordstrom credit or MOD card through Sunday. This is a big deal, since as you know, you receive a $20 Nordstrom Notes gift certificate for every 2,000 points accrued.

The way it normally works is that you receive two points for every dollar spent on your card. Triple rewards points means six points for every dollar spent. Therefore, if I spend $500 during this period, I’ll receive 500 x 2 points x 3 = 3,000 points. And with the new fall fashions appearing this week, we all know $500 is easy to spend at Nordstrom.
